Job Description Summary
The Global Engineering Leader for Mobile X-Ray will create and maintain a world-class engineering and technical organization, including collaboration across functions and platforms, to deliver multi-generational product innovations and a product portfolio that allows the business to grow both profitability and share.

They will work as a strong partner to the Mobile Product Segment Manager to identify key customer needs, and innovate to solve those needs. In addition to new product development, they will be responsible for all aspects of growing quality and customer satisfaction for our installed base of products.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Drive a technology vision and strategy, to deliver global competitiveness across the Mobile X-Ray portfolio. Understand core customer and market needs and align the product plans to those needs.
  • Ensure engineering designs and execution meets those business needs, including efficiency of execution, speed to market, product quality targets, reliability, manufacturability, and target cost.
  • Build and drive a high performance, world class, technology and innovation culture across the the Mobile product teams. Ensures agile and lean product development concepts accelerate speed and quality. Work in strong collaboration for these goals with the Platform Hardware, Software, and Digital teams.
  • Work across the WHXR organization to drive platform and technology synergies within our teams, as well as with strategic partners, to improve efficiency and simplify our product portfolio.
  • Drive a culture that prioritizes Safety and Customer Satisfaction. Advance this culture through building capabilities, driving learning, coaching, and promoting inclusiveness.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Science within a related discipline.
  • 10 years of strong experience, showing career progression, within product and technology development roles.
  • Prior experience leading and developing engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated product, project, and people leadership skills.
  • Team oriented with the ability to motive and work with diverse, cross functional, and global teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer challenges and innovate to solve these challenges and bring value.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast pace environment - taking ownership for issues and solutions.

Desired Characteristics
  • Masters degree in Engineering / Science within a related discipline.
  • Technical development and product execution expertise in medical imaging or a closely related field.
  • Innovative mindset, demonstrating the ability to drive change and transformation, including the development of digital strategies.
  • Product clinical and technical knowledge, demonstrating an understanding of customer needs, and imaging applications.
  • Demonstrated experience driving successful global product releases and product life cycle execution.
