Utility Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
Ensure proper maintenance and operation of plant utilities, including boilers, chillers, compressors, and production equipment. Provide support and guidance to team members and perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete preventative maintenance work orders on time.
• Repair and maintain utility systems such as boilers, chillers, compressors, and production equipment.
• Support and guide team members on shift.
• Assist with shift schedules and manage attendance.
• Prioritize and address daily tasks and urgent issues.
• Maintain parts, tools, and supplies inventory.
• Implement and support preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Attend required training and participate in on-call or weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (HVAC, boilers, and chillers preferred).
• Relevant trade certification or licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and plant computer systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to perform basic electrical, welding, and maintenance tasks.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks.
