Seeking a Commercial Roofer that wants to branch into Commercial Roofing Inspection!
Description:
The Roof Inspector is to maintain a presence at the construction site to ensure and confirm the roofing contractor is
compliant with the contract documents, approved submittals, schedule, and safety procedures. The Roof Observer will complete daily quality and safety reports among other submittals through-out the week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Maintain a presence at the construction site and on a day-to-day basis, interact with the roofing contractors and the clients representatives, along with the Interstate Project Manager in order to coordinate site requirements per job specifications
+ Taking photographs of job-site progress and daily documentation + reporting
+ Ensuring the roofing contractor is compliant with the Contract Documents
+ Completing and submitting daily quality and safety reports
+ Informs the Interstate Project Manager of quality issues and safety violations by the contractor
+ Ensure incomplete work is finished prior to the final inspection.
MUST HAVES:
+ 2 years Experience with Roofing, Either Residential or Commercial (Could be Demo, Inspection or Shingling)
+ 1 year experience using Microsoft Excel
+ Able to use an IPad (Either from previous experience or from personal)
+ Clean Driving Record and valid drivers license
+ Willingness to submit to drug test and background check
