Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Picker Packer - 1st Shift for a well-known gifting warehouse located in Auburn, NY. The ideal candidate will possess experience following procedures to perform routine packing work. Hours: 7 am-3 pm - 1st shift, 8 hours Salary: $16/hour

Key Responsibilities of a Packer

• Pick and package a variety of items.
• Excellent knowledge of routine and non-routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures.
• May require basic skill in using heat sealers, cutters, and hand and power tools.
• May be asked by the Shift Supervisor to provide guidance, training, or leadership to less experienced packers. Perform other duties as assigned by shift Supervisor.
• Must be able to maintain focus and productivity rate when working independently.
• Must have the aptitude to read various measuring instruments (rulers, line gauges etc.).
• Must be able to execute physical motions/requirements of the job in a safe manner.

Qualifications of a Packer

• Ability to lift approx. to 40 lbs. on occasion with or without accommodation
• Must be able to keep pace with the machine
• Can work in a team environment
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Excellent time-management skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
