Are you passionate about music and detail-oriented? This Research Assistant position offers an exciting entry-level opportunity to dive into the music business. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our database of music administration records, providing crucial support to ensure data accuracy. This role requires self-motivation, critical thinking, and the ability to focus on details and repetitive tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct database matching for song and release details through online research.
Review and update data in the music administration records database.
Address customer inquiries related to music administration services as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:

A solid working knowledge of artists, music genres, styles, and industry terminology (preferred).
Experience in music publishing administration is a plus.
Educational Requirement: A Music Degree or Certificate focused on music business or administration (no creative degrees).
Proven experience in data entry with excellent computer navigation and keyboarding skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
