Role Overview The Fundraising Consultant will collaborate closely with our executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy. This role involves refining our value proposition, building investor relationships, and ensuring the smooth navigation of funding rounds from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop a clear fundraising roadmap, including target investor profiles, pitch materials, and go-to-market strategies. Investor Relations: Identify and connect with potential investors (VCs, angels, syndicates), showcasing our startup’s unique value and market potential. Pitch Deck & Collateral: Oversee the creation and refinement of pitch decks, financial models, and supporting documents to present a compelling case. Negotiations & Deal Structuring: Advise on term sheets, valuations, and negotiation tactics to align with both short- and long-term company goals. Due Diligence Support: Assist in organizing, preparing, and presenting due diligence materials to investors. Ongoing Advisory: Offer continued guidance throughout the fundraising process, ensuring alignment with market trends and investor expectations. Qualifications & Skills Proven Fundraising Track Record: Demonstrated success raising capital for startups (seed, Series A, or beyond). Strong Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of valuation, financial modeling, term sheets, and investor expectations. Industry Insights: Familiarity with relevant industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. Networking Prowess: Existing network of venture capitalists, angel investors, and other funding sources.
