Remedy is so excited to have been selected to support a very valued partner of ours in the Southtowns as they embark on a search for a savvy Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This AP Specialist will be tasked with ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices in a high-volume, paperless setting. Here are some key details:

Job Title:  Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Type:  Full-time/Direct Hire/In-person
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00, depending upon experience
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday

Essential duties for this AP Specialist will include:

• High volume invoice processing, preparing/entering all vendor invoices for payment and processing vendor checks
• Reviewing amounts invoiced against estimates and researches/resolves significant variances as necessary.
• Process vendor checks and ensure all vendor accounts are properly set-up and maintained
• Performs vendor account maintenance, ensuring all vendor info is up-to-date in the system

The AP Specialist we're looking for will possess the following background profile:

• Associate's degree in Accounting or Business is required, Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
• We're ideally looking for someone with a couple years of experience in a similar role but new graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered!
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Meticulous data entry abilities, along with strong organization skills including attention to detail & follow through
• Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be interacting with external vendors and internal customers.
